The Kippen Ceilidh band are probably one of the most versatile ceilidh bands on the scene at the moment. Not only are they a traditional ceilidh band with accordion, fiddle and caller but they can also be hired as a ceilidh and covers band with a free disco if wanted. They can also play some old time dancing for your Come Dancin' fans. You can hire the band with or without a walk about caller to keep your guests on track.
Having played together for over 10 years the band have gained a wealth of knowledge from performances at home and abroad. The Kippen Ceilidh band have played all of Scotland's 5 star hotels including Glen Eagles - Perthshire and Cameron House - Loch Lomond not to mention recording for the BBC. The Kippen Ceilidh Band can travel all over Scotland from Dundee to Perth, Stirling, Glasgow, Edinburgh and the Borders.
The instrumental combinations of the band are as follows.
2 piece - Accordion and Drums - Ceilidh only.
2 piece - Accordion and Fiddle - Ceilidh only.
3 piece - Accordion, Fiddle and Drums - Ceilidh only.
3 piece - Accordion, Drums/Guitar, Keyboards including harmony vocals and free disco. - Ceilidh and Covers
4 piece - Accordion, Fiddle, Drums and Walk About Caller - Ceilidh only
The band can have a variety of combinations although must include the keyboard player for covers and free disco.
