Bowfain is run by jedburghs very own boyband sensations Ian Anderson and Gary Forrest......! for bigger gigs the band is joined by Ians son jamie on drums.

Ian has played for many years with borders band fiddlers leap. He has played at many concerts ceilidhs and festivals.  Hes also toured europe with various bands playing the music of Robert Burns songs and tunes. Ian plays Guitar, bazouki, banjo, fiddle and is the lead singer with BOWFAIN.

Gary has toured the world playing with various band at festivals, concerts and ceilidhs. He studied at the royal academy of music and drama in glasgow and is now working as a full time musician and accordion teacher. He has appeared on BBC and ITV on several occassions.
