Charity Band - Bury The Hobbit
 Bury The Hobbit are a very unusual band because every penny they make goes directly to 5 cancer charities. The band also offer a free disco on the night. They are all fantastic musicians who give up their time for a very good cause. They are available for any function including weddings, corporate events, pubs, parties, festivals or really any gig that will raise money. The band will consider any suggested fee which should be emailed to enquiries@centralmusicagency.co.uk. Central Music Agency will also give our services for free to promote the band and raise as much money as possible. If you would like to see the band play live, please email for dates and we will be happy to organise this. Help cancer charities by booking Bury The Hobbit, you won't be disappointed. Bury the Hobbit evolved from humble beginnings when Andy Thomson and Ken smith decided to "jam" a bit in the back of Ken's Hairdressing shop in Upper Craigs, Stirling. They were soon joined by Davie Rennie (drums) and Stewart Lindsay (vocals & guitar). The fifth member came in the shape of Blair Hardie who was originally employed to drastically lower the average age of the band but they soon discovered he wasn't too bad on the old Les Paul. The first gig arrived after many painful hours of rehearsal (most of the pain inflicted on a men's darts team in The Anchor at Denny ) The gig took place in the Westerton, Bridge of Allan where we had marvellous support and raised around £400 for cancer charities. Since then every gig that has been undertaken by the Hobbits has been for charity and band members have never received any payment for their work. Because they are a 5/6 piece band they have an army of friends to call upon and these guys are invaluable to the success of our fund raising.
They are now a band with over 60-70 gigs under their belts including 3 appearances at the Scribbler's Picnic which is a festival of music run specifically to raise money for cancer charities.
